2007-2010 L.H. Krueger and Son Inc.
My roofing career began about 1971 when I took a part time job with a small roofing company
in Waukesha. I married my wife Janet in 1972 and we had two beautiful children, Leah and
Ryan, who coincidentally both work for the company today. I started as an inexperienced
trainee, but applied myself and by the mid-seventies I was right-hand man to the owner. In
1981 I bought the business (it was small) and changed the name to L.H. Krueger and Son Inc.
Daughter Leah and son Ryan were born in 1974 and 1977 respectively, so the "and son" was
more of a hope than a reality (he was four at the time!).

Those early years were a struggle, but we persevered. Janet handled all the book-keeping and
secretarial duties up into the mid-nineties when the torch was passed to Leah. Many marveled
that a husband and wife could work so closely together, build a business and raise a family
together, but we did just fine. We are still married to this day, and going strong 38 years later.
Leah is Chief Financial Officer and Ryan...just four when the company was started, is now 33
and is my Sales Manager. My Vice-President of Production is Mark Palmersheim and he has
been with the company for over 25 years.

As you can see, the company is built on a rock solid foundation. You can have complete
confidence in us to do the job well, and stand behind our work.

The rest, as they say, is history. Beginning in 1981 with myself and two employees, we have
grown into a mid-size company employing upwards of 50 employees. I attribute this success
to the fact that we do a great job at a fair price, while treating people with the dignity and
respect they deserve.
