1) Before: This house in Waukesha needs a
new roof. The following photos will show the
progress of the job.
2) Tear off in progress: The existing cedar
shakes are being removed and disposed of.
Note the tarps to protect the landscaping
around the house!
3) Bare Roof: This is the opportunity to inspect
the roof deck. We will correct any carpentry
issues, add ventilation if necessary, and be
sure the building is ready for a new roof.
4) Prepped: The replacement process
begins. Edging, Ice and Water Shield,
roofing felt and valleys are now installed.
Chimneys and other projections are
prepared for flashing.
5) Shingling in Process: The new shingles
are carefully and professionally installed per
the manufacturers instructions by our trained
personnel.
6) Finished Product: Care is taken to contain
all debris. The dumpster is removed, driveway
and sidewalks swept and the job is inspected
by a member of the L.H. Krueger and Son staff.
Another beautiful job!
This page is a walk-through of a re-roof from start to finish.
It illustrates the steps and actions taken during the course
of a typical job.
This house had its old cedar shake roof removed and
replaced with a GAF-ELK Pemium Designer Shingle. The
shingles installed on this house emulate the look of cedar
shakes and carry a limited lifetime warranty, as well as a
limited wind warranty of up to 110 MPH.
